3 ripe avocados

1 small red onion, finely diced

2 medium Roma tomatoes, diced

1-2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped (adjust to your heat preference)

1/4 cup cilantro leaves, chopped

Juice of 2 limes (more to taste)

1 tsp cumin (optional)

Salt, to taste

Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare Avocados: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a medium mixing bowl.

    Mash Avocados: Using a fork or a potato masher, gently mash the avocados to your desired consistency (smooth or chunky).

      Add Aromatics: Stir in the finely diced red onion, diced tomatoes, chopped jalapeños, and cilantro.

        Season the Dip: Squeeze in the lime juice and mix thoroughly. Add cumin (if using), salt, and black pepper, mixing until well combined.

          Taste and Adjust: Taste the guacamole and adjust seasonings as needed. You may want to add more lime juice or salt.

            Serve Immediately: For the best flavor, serve the guacamole immediately with tortilla chips or use as a topping for tacos, burritos, or salads. If not serving right away, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole to minimize oxidation.
