Ingredients

1 cup fresh blueberries (plus extra for garnish)

1 cup sparkling water or soda water

2 cups vanilla ice cream

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Blueberry syrup (store-bought or homemade)

Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

Make the Blueberry Mixture: In a medium saucepan, combine the fresh blueberries and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Cook over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the blueberries start to soften and release their juices. Remove from heat and let cool.

Prepare the Cream: In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. This will be your whipped cream topping.

Assemble the Floats: In a tall glass, add a layer of the blueberry mixture followed by a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Pour sparkling water or soda water over the ice cream until it reaches the top of the glass.

Add Blueberry Syrup: Drizzle some blueberry syrup on top of the float, letting it cascade down the sides for visual appeal.

Top with Whipped Cream: Generously dollop the whipped cream on top of the float and garnish with fresh blueberries.

Serve: Add a straw and a spoon, and enjoy your refreshing Blueberry Cream Soda Floats immediately!
