Ingredients
  

1 package of regular Oreos (15.35 oz)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup milk

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract (for batter)

Oil for frying

Extra powdered sugar for dusting

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated. Fold in the mini chocolate chips. Place the mixture into a piping bag or a plastic zip-top bag with a corner snipped off.

    Fill the Oreos: Carefully separate each Oreo cookie into halves. Squeeze a dollop of the cream cheese filling onto the cream side of the cookie, then reassemble the cookie so the filling is sandwiched inside. Repeat with all Oreos.

      Make the Batter: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until you have a smooth batter.

        Heat the Oil: In a large deep frying pot or a deep fryer, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).

          Fry the Oreos: Dip each filled Oreo into the batter, making sure it is well coated. Carefully place them in the hot oil, frying a few at a time to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until they turn golden brown, flipping halfway through for even cooking.

            Drain and Dust: Using a slotted spoon, remove the deep-fried Oreos and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. While they are still warm, dust generously with powdered sugar.
