Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup crumbled feta cheese

1/2 cup honey

2 tablespoons red pepper flakes (adjust for spice preference)

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

In a small bowl, mix together honey and red pepper flakes. Set aside.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once hot, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and dried oregano on both sides.

Sear the chicken breasts in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it in a baking dish.

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Drizzle half of the spicy honey mixture over the chicken, then top each breast with crumbled feta cheese.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C).

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and drizzle the remaining hot honey mixture on top.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zing.
