Ingredients

1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

⅓ cup granulated sugar

2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened

1 cup root beer

1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Root beer candies or whipped cream, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until slightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

Make the Root Beer Filling: In a separate bowl, whisk together the root beer and the instant vanilla pudding mix until well blended. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes until it thickens.

Combine with Ice Cream: Gently fold in the softened vanilla ice cream to the root beer and pudding mixture until smooth and fully combined. Spread the mixture evenly into the cooled graham cracker crust.

Chill the Pie: Cover the pie with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until firm.

Prepare the Whipped Cream Topping: In a mixing bowl, combine heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.

Serve the Pie: Once the pie is firm, remove it from the freezer and slice into wedges. Top each slice with a generous dollop of whipped cream and garnish with root beer candies if desired.

              Enjoy!
