1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)

1 clove garlic, minced

Juice of 1 lime

Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Mango Salsa:

1 ripe mango, diced

1/2 red onion, finely chopped

1 jalapeño, diced (seeds removed for less heat)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

Salt, to taste

For Serving:

8 small corn or flour tortillas

Lime wedges

Avocado slices (optional)

Instructions
 

Marinate the Shrimp: In a medium bowl, mix together olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, minced garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature.

    Prepare the Mango Salsa: In a separate bowl, combine diced mango, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Mix well and set aside for the flavors to meld.

      Cook the Shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook them.

        Warm the Tortillas: While the shrimp is cooking, warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.
